Terms & Conditions

IT IS A CONDITION OF ENTRY THAT YOU AGREE TO THE BELOW & MUST STOP AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE GATES ON ARRIVAL WHETHER YOU ARE A CAMPER, DAY VISITOR or LOOKER TO CHECK IN . AS FEES MAY APPLY

CAMPING SITES – CHECK IN 10AM – CHECK OUT: 2PM

GRINCH SITE – CHECK IN: 10AM – CHECK OUT 10AM

We do not allocate sites. It is a first in best dressed basis. We do not recommend camping directly under gum trees as they are known to drop branches. Gunna Park accepts no responsibility to any damage done due to falling trees or limbs/branches. Camping is at your own risk. Gunna Park is located at 433 Neerdie Rd, Gunalda QLD it is a bush setting. So general hazards are around sites such as uneven ground, dams, fallen trees and other hazards, so care must be taken.

CAMPGROUNDS – SPEED LIMIT IS 10KM (Walking Pace) – Please SLOW DOWN and watch for guests &wildlife. NO riding in back of utes, trailers etc. NO unlicensed driving. QLD road rules must be used whilst on property. Guests who do not comply may be asked to leave.

PETS  Your pets MUST be on a leash at all times. No Exceptions. Children are not to be the sole responsibility of pets at any time. If you leave the premises your pets must go with you. No pets are to be left unattended. In the case of any incident you must take full responsibility for your pet. Any dog that shows aggression, aggressive nature to other guests, pets or wildlife may be asked to leave. Please use your dog bags everywhere!  Bins are provided for disposal of droppings. We value our wild life, the safety of our guests, children and pets.

CAMPFIRES & FIREWOOD Fire Pits/Drums are available for use at all sites. All fires are to be small, contained and remain in firepit. You may use your own Fire Pit if you have one that sits off the ground. Self collection of firewood off Campground floor or piles is permitted. There is firewood available for purchase also. Campfires must not be left unattended and must be put out before going to sleep and upon departing. Your campfire and the safety of others around is your responsibility. FIRES ARE SUBJECT TO FIREBANS.

GENERATORS & NOISE– Generators may only be used between the hours of 8am and 6pm. We ask you to consider noise levels for your neighbours. No loud music day or night. Please have consideration for your fellow campers. Sound travels far in the bush. We don’t do parties here as everyone wants to enjoy their bush camping stay and not bothered by loud music and inconsiderate loud persons. People who do not abide by our rules and have no consideration for others may be evicted from our grounds. There is NO noise after 9pm. Any drunk, disorderly or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated & you will be asked to leave at your own expense via taxi, friend or any other method.

DAMS – There are open water sources with submerged logs, wildlife and vegetation so jumping and diving is prohibited. It is a dam not a swimming pool – swimming is at your own risk. It is your responsibility to supervise any children in your care, especially around water. Please ensure children do NOT pull out our lilies or disturb the birds nesting in the dam.

KAYAKS – CANOE – TOY LIBRARY – HAMMOCKS – DAYBEDS – These items are all COMPLIMENTARY- ONE hour maximum paddle/ride per use. We ask that parents/carers please supervise their children at all times whilst kayaking and swimming. Kayaks and Toy Library items are not to be kept at campsites for duration of your stay and must be returned before nightfall or once the hour is expired. Please respect item, be fair, share and RETURN THEM to the appropriate area.

PLAYGROUND/PLAY EQUIPMENT – PLEASE ensure YOUR children are supervised by an ADULT at ALL TIMES for their safety, including on/around all equipment and facilities. Our playground, toy library, dam etc are open for play from 7 am – 7pm.

ANIMAL FEEDING – Animal feeding is done daily (except Thursday) at 4pm. You will help to feed and interact with a variety of our rescue animals this may include our Chickens, Peacocks, Sheep, Lambs, Alpacas, Horses, Pig & Birds. 1 Animal Feeding session is included free of charge per booking for your group/family to enjoy together. Donations for the animals feed and care is highly appreciated. Additional animal feeding sessions can be purchased for $5. PLEASE ensure YOUR children are supervised by an ADULT at ALL TIMES for their safety during animal feeding session. Footwear must be worn for safety. NO SHOES, NO ENTRY!

CAMP KITCHENS – BBQ, gas & tables and chairs are provided free for guest use. Please clean up after use so it is available and clean for the next person.

RUBBISH – Please dispose of all rubbish in the bins provided on your exit up near the front entry gates.

DISCGOLF – There are 3 tees/ baskets. Guests can play for free with frisbees in baskets. Proper Discs/ equipment are available for $10 per player for the duration of your stay. Discs must be returned to staff when checking out. Fees for lost or stolen discs will apply.

DRONES – Use of drones is NOT PERMITTED without prior permission from Gunna Park. We value our neighbours and the privacy of fellow campers. NO EXCEPTIONS.

FIREARMS & WEAPONS – Are NOT allowed.

MOTORBIKES & QUADS – No Motorbikes, buggies or quads are to be used on the property. There are many places around use to use these, just ask us and we will point you in the right direction.

EMERGENCY ASSEMBLY AREA – In the event of an emergency all guests on the property are to assemble in the grassed signed area near the front gates.

PARENTS/CARERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE THERE ARE OPEN WATER SOURCES AT GUNNA PARK. YOU MUST SUPERVISE YOUR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES!!!!

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, we require 24 hours notice from check in date to either issue a credit, move your booking to another desired date or issue a refund.

If cancellation occurs under this 24 hour period then no refund or credit will be issued.  

We strive to maintain a safe & tidy environment, so please let us know if anything needs attention during your stay.
